The Best Book of Zaporizhzhia Book Toloka Award was launched within the Festival-2016.

More than 50 books of different Ukrainian publishing houses were recognized as honorees and prize winners in six categories: Children’s Literature, Artistic Literature, Translations, Ukrainian Fiction, Ukrainian Poetry, Essays and Non-fiction.

The only one of them won the Grand Prix. It was an illustrated encyclopedia Franko from A to Z (The Old Lion Publishing, 2016) devoted to the Ukrainian writer, cultural and political activist Ivan Franko. The book was originated by Natalia and Bogdan Tykholoz, and designed by Roman Romanishyn and Andrii Lesiv (creative workshop Agrafka).

The Best Book of ZBT Award aims to celebrate the achievements of the Ukrainian book publishing industry and promote the best new books among readers and the media. The criteria for awarding are, as follows: originality, artistic, journalistic or scientific value and importance of the content; integrity and innovation of the concept; the quality and originality of the artwork; topicality and publicity; quality of the editorial work, including literary, scientific, technical, artistic editing, and proofreading.
